Die Cutting & Sheeting
Industrial Netting can provide highly precise circles or shapes of any size. Our standard tolerance for die cut parts is +/- 0.030". The existing line of equipment includes a high speed beam press which allows us to die cut parts in a range of 45" to 58" or circles up to 46" in diameter. To complement our services we have a smaller die cutter which can provide precision parts as small as 1/2" in diameter. Initial tooling charges and extended lead times will apply but ongoing supply is typically completed in a 1 to 2 week time frame allowing you to have the custom parts you need just-in-time to meet your production schedules! Slitting & Rewinding
We convert master rolls of plastic mesh and netting into custom widths using precision slitting equipment. Roll goods in polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, polyester, and woven mesh are slit and rewound to your specified dimensions with consistent tension control. This eliminates the need for you to purchase full-width master rolls and perform secondary cutting operations on your plant floor.

Heat Sealing
Industrial Netting is your source for custom configurations of our parts protection sleeves or other flat plastic mesh products. Parts protection sleeves are sold in full box length configurations. Industrial Netting can take these boxes, cut the material to specific lengths and pinch weld one end of the sleeve to form a heat sealed bag or pocket. The pinch welding process bonds one end of plastic mesh sleeves to allow you to protect and showcase your products with our unique colors, configurations and sizes of breathable plastic mesh. Choose from a variety of NetGuard or Vexar® sleeve diameters and colors for a unique solution to your packaging requirements.

Sonic Welding
Industrial Netting uses proprietary ultrasonic welding capabilities to bond fine mesh or nonwoven filter cloth to the surface of rigid polypropylene plastic tubes, creating overwrapped filter cores up to 12 inches in diameter. These fabric overwraps combine the structural strength of our rigid extruded mesh tubes with the separation properties of fine mesh or nonwoven fabric. Multi-layer tube construction is available - choose from a broad range of fine meshes to heavier, rigid, and more open nets to create a tubular structure unique to your filtration or containment application.

Precision Tube Cutting
Industrial Netting can produce custom lengths with tight tolerances on all configurations of our plastic rigid mesh cores. The wide variety of extruded cores, coupled with our "finished cut" fabrication services, create a virtually limitless number of custom length options to meet your needs.
The standard extruded "rough cut" plastic rigid mesh cores will typically hold a length tolerance of plus or minus 0.25" with rough edges that are not always square. Finished cutting of these rigid cores will yield a length tolerance of plus or minus 0.030" for tubes up to 45 inches in length and plus or minus 0.060" for tubes up to 94 inches in length, with uniform, square edges. A secondary de-nubbing service is also available for certain lengths and configurations.

Injection Molding
Through our sister company, Plastech Corporation, we can provide custom injection molded frames and fittings to secure your net. Plastech uses the latest CAD software to create a 3-D design of the mold required to make your custom part. Early involvement engineering support is available for product design, moldability assistance and material selection. Plastech was one of the first molders in the United States to achieve ISO certification. Our sales team will work with you to find the right process for your application.

What materials can you convert?
We convert all of our major plastic mesh and netting materials including polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, polyester, and PTFE. This includes extruded diamond and square mesh, woven mesh, oriented netting, knitted mesh, rigid extruded tubes, and nonwoven fabrics for overwrapping applications.
What tolerances can you hold?
Die cut parts are produced to a standard tolerance of +/- 0.030". Finished-cut rigid mesh tubes hold +/- 0.030" for lengths up to 45 inches and +/- 0.060" for lengths up to 94 inches; standard "rough cut" tubes hold +/- 0.25". Tube inside and outside diameter tolerances are typically +/- 0.020" for most configurations. Tolerances on slit rolls vary based on the hole or mesh size of the net, so contact us for the tolerance that applies to your material.
