RackGuard Containment

Plastic netting, plastic mesh or plastic grids can be grouped together as "industrial mesh" or "industrial netting". In one form or another, they are used in a wide variety of industrial applications, especially in the areas of material handling and parts separation, or parts protection as a protective mesh. Heavy duty netting structures are used as support and protection in electro-coating, parts washing, plating, separating OEM parts, machine guards, intra-plant parts handling and warehouse containment.

Parts Separation
Durable, rigid extruded netting is used as a separating layer between valuable parts to protect from chipping, scratching and abrasion. Netting can be placed as bin liners, tote liners, basket dividers, pallet liners & layers or parts separators. Open mesh netting provides a breathable, open air environment so air and fluids can flow freely to resist rust and corrosion - a much more efficient separator than cardboard or other solid material that can collect fluids and restrict air flow.

And because these versatile parts protectors are reusable, they are more economical that competitive liners. It all adds up to improved parts quality.

Parts separators are offered in polypropylene (more rigid) or polyethylene (more flexible) versions. Click here to see PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) netting for use in more caustic chemical applications. Nylon netting is also available from Industrial Netting for higher temperature applications.

Note: Industrial Netting parts protection netting, protective mesh and grids are available in rolls, sheets or cut to the size you specify.

Tubular, Elastic Netting Sleeves for Parts Protection
NetGuard and Vexar® elastic tubular netting sleeves should be your first choice for effective, economical and convenient protection of your valuable parts and components. They are manufactured from a special blend of resins to provide "soft" elastic cushioning characteristics to protect from chipping and abrasion of valuable parts during handling and transport.

These protective "chain" or "cable", expandable sleeving products are not braided or woven. They feature an integral joint structure for maximum stability and to help retain elasticity. NetGuard and Vexar® sleeves from Industrial Netting come in 3 grades in a wide range of sizes and colors. They are color coded by diameter size, which also allows for easy identification of your valuable parts.

Standard and Superduty grades feature greater elasticity than competitive products for more versatility in covering and conforming to a wide variety of part shapes and sizes. Sturdier, less elastic Workgrade sleeves provide extra thick individual parts protection. Choose your NetGuard or Vexar® sleeves in roll form (packaged in convenient self-dispensing cartons), or in custom cut lengths for your specific needs.

NetGuard Standard Duty Elastic Sleeves This low-density polyethylene netting is highly elastic, and has a soft, cushioned feel. NetGuard stretches up to twice its diameter and is our most economical tubular sleeve for the protection of irregular-shaped parts from damage often caused during shipping and handling.

Vexar® Workgrade Elastic Sleeves Vexar® Workgrade Elastic Sleeves are our thickest, sturdiest protective sleeves, with additional strands and closer spacing. Although not as elastic as Standard or SuperDuty sleeves, Workgrade sleeves provide extra thick protection for individual parts. Workgrade Sleeves are reusable and can eliminate the need for other expensive and time consuming protective wrappings like bubble wrap, Styrofoam, cardboard, paper or wood.

Vexar® Superduty Elastic Sleeves Versatile Superduty sleeves are made from low-density polyethylene, but are heavier, with closer strand spacing than our Standard Duty NetGuard, - still with great elasticity. These elastic netting sleeves will stretch easily over a broad range of part sizes and shapes to provide a "form fit" soft cushion for economical protection against abrasion, scratching, chipping and corrosion.

RackGuard & Conveyor Guard
Sometimes referred to as safety netting or safety mesh, RackGuard is more accurately used as a warehouse containment netting. Heavy duty RackGuard resists sagging and is strong enough to improve storage and shelving safety for parts, pallet racks and loads of parts on shelves and on storage racks. The see-through wall that RackGuard forms allows for ready product identification and organization.

Narrower RackGuard products are ideal for safety, protection and containment of moving parts on conveyor belts.

Conveyor Guard Applications
Use our narrower RackGuard products (i.e. XB 1132) for containment of moving parts on conveyor belts. The heavy duty netting guards against falling parts in assembly, or on their way to packaging or other operations.
